Today’s automakers are constantly trying to create new special editions that will entice customers. This latest example is from Japan, where the local BMW division decided to add a musical theme for the 523d. This limited-run model will also celebrate the 99th anniversary of the company. They plan to offer only 99 units. They will all be available with black Sapphire paint, 19-inch M double-spoke 351M aluminum wheels, wrapped in 245/40 R19 front tires and 275/35 R19 back run-flat tires.

The vehicle comes with a wide range of standard equipment, including adaptive full LED headlights and fog lights, as well as taillights and taillights. It also has a Harman & Kardon 600-watt sound system, 16-speaker Harman & Kardon speakers, soft-close doors and heated front seats. BMW Japan also offers the M Aerodynamics package. This includes sports seats, rearview camera and front parking sensor, as well as M exterior badges. There are many individual bits and pieces, such the Merino Amaro brown upholstery, Sycamore Red Brown dark trim, Ansorajitto roof liner and high-gloss Shadow Line External.

The BMW 523d Maestro’s four-cylinder turbodiesel engine, 2.0-liter, produces 184 PS (135kW) and 380Nm (281lb-ft) respectively. It is equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

BMW Japan will begin accepting orders from November 7, and they ask for 7,980,000 yen (approximately $66,750 / EUR59,000/ PS43,000.100).
