BRABUS 700 Biturbo based upon Mercedes SLS AMG, revealed in Geneva

German tuner installs its own twin-turbo system on the SLS AMG to produce 700 PS (514kW / 690bhp) & 850 Nm (626lb-ft).

Today’s Geneva auto show saw the debut of the Brabus 700 Biturbo, which is based on the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.

The German tuner has designed a twin-turbo system that will fit the SLS’s V8 engine. It produces 700 PS (514kW/690 bhp) as well as 850 Nm (626lb-ft). The bi-turbo B63 system has a left-turning charger attached on the left side of engine. This is in contrast to other right-charging twin-turbochargers. This type of fitting provides improved gas flow and dynamics.

Brabus also offers an intercooling system and performance exhaust manifold. Brabus also does an ECU mapping. Brabus also fits its own forged pistons, which reduces the compression ratio to 9.0.

Brabus also created the new performance exhaust system from ultra-light titanium. It features four slanted tailpipes measuring 84mm in diameter.

Final performance figures: From 0 to 100 km/h (62 MPH) in 3.7 seconds. 200 km/h is achieved in 10.2 seconds. Top speed is 340 km/h (213 MPH).

Wide-body kits (WIDESTAR), which increases the SLS at rear axle by 20mm, are available. A front spoiler, rear spoiler lip for the trunk lid, and a rear diffuser are also included. The front fender is fitted with a pair of gills and Brabus letters in blue-illuminated Brabus letters.

Brabus wheels are 9.5J x 20 inch rims with 275/30 ZR20 tires for the front and 11Jx21-inchers with 295/25 ZR21 tires for the back. Yokohama or Pirelli supply the tires.

For improved stability, a Bilstein suspension kit reduces the SLS by 30%. Brabus sport stabilizers are also added to the front- and rear axles.

Inside, you’ll find a brand new sport steering wheel and a 400 km/h (250 MPH) speedometer. You also have matte or shining carbon fiber trims in a range of colors as well as anodized aluminum pedals, foot rest, and matte anodized aluminum pedals.
