2020 BMW 7 Series looks stylish in a walkaround video

The grille actually doesn’t look so bad.

BMW unveiled the refreshed 7 Series mid-January and everyone was quick to voice their opinion about the large kidney grille. Although most comments were negative, others wisely pointed out that it is better to actually see the car before making any judgments. You can now take a look at the flagship sedan in Bavaria with a detailed walkaround video thanks to RoCars.

This short clip shows the 750Li model in Bernina Grey Amber Effect metallic, which is the star of the redesigned 7 Series family. This luxurious four-door cruiser features a new generation twin-turbo V8 engine of 4.4-liters with 523 horsepower (390 Kilowatts) as well as up to 553 lbft (750 Nm) torque. But that’s not all.

Let’s concentrate on the design. The LCI (or Life Cycle Impulse, as BMW refers to its mid-life facelifts), features a new hood that has more precise contour lines, a 40 percent larger single-piece kidney-grille, new headlights with internal graphics and redesigned bumpers. The most noticeable change at the back is the full-width strip connecting the LED taillights to a new, three-dimensional design.

Inside, the changes are subtler. Interior changes include a new control panel for driver assistance systems, a new all-digital cluster of instruments, additional trim options and a wireless charging tray. The interior is covered in Nappa leather with extended quilting.

The 7 Series’ refreshed model will be available at European dealerships in April. Prices are expected to be announced closer the date. The video above will show you the details of the new 7 Series model, but it won’t be available for purchase in the United States until then. BMW Germany already has an online configurator, where you can spend some time experimenting with colors, wheels and trim options.
