Off-roading with an open-top roof is at its best.
Ferves is a fascinating automaker. The Fiat 500 , Fiat 600 and Fiat 500 were the only models that it produced. It was in existence for just five years from 1965 to 1970. There were only 600 examples of this so-called Ranger model, and you can now buy one.
RM Sotheby’s will sell a clean example of Ferves Ranger at its Amelia Island sale in May. This vehicle is unique because only 50 examples of the Ranger are known to exist. The Ranger is in search of a new owner.
There were two options for the original Ferves Ranger. This particular one is driven by its front wheels. The car is freshly painted in striking yellow with a contrast black soft top. According to the description, the car is in excellent overall condition and works as it should.
This little utility buggy can be driven on the roads and is road legal. The rear-mounted spare wheel, and the collapsible windshield are our favorite features. This combination creates an unusual open-top environment.
The Ranger’s rear-mounted 499cc two-cylinder engine is responsible for power. It can accelerate to speeds of approximately 45 MPH (72 km/h). It can be driven at almost a walking speed thanks to its low gear ratio. This allows it to provide incredible off-road and crawling capabilities.
This might be the right vehicle for you, whether you’re looking to add to your all-Italian collection of cars or a smaller off-roader for your weekends.
