Style is more important than speed
Although Maxlider Motors may not sound familiar to you, is best known for its work with the Ford Bronco. The shop can also work on other Blue Oval vehicles like the F150. Maxlider’s most recent iteration, the Midnite Edition, has been dubbed after many attempts to customize the pickup.
The factory-to-midnite transformation involves many modifications, but the most prominent is the six inch lift kit. This is accompanied by a set Fox 2.5 coilovers. Customers will be able to choose between 20 and 22-inch wheels. They can also opt for BFGoodrich K02 or KM3 tires that fit under slightly wider fenders.
A lift-kit and larger tires are nice, but the main focus of the F-150 modification kit is the lights at front. Midnite would be silly without a great lighting system. The upgraded steel front bumper includes integrated LED lighting elements, and the Premium model comes with a huge LED lightbar. The build includes a graphics package if that wasn’t enough to make this truck a real head-turner.
Surprisingly the powertrain remained largely unchanged throughout the modifications. MM plans to offer mild power-adders such as a cold air intake and performance exhaust system in the future. Interior features include embroidered headrests, but not much else. Premium buyers will be given an extra build plaque.
Although pricing information is not yet available, reservations for the Midnite Edition can be made now. We’d bet that the custom Bronco models at the shop are a good indicator of how fast you should book.
