Falcon Motorsports, an obscure American supercar maker, is for saleAll you need to do is $675,000.

Although it’s not a common occurrence for a whole car manufacturer to be put up for sale every day, Falcon Motorsports was certainly not your average automaker. Loopnet.com has listed the entire American supercar manufacturer, which had only built a few cars since 2009. The asking price for the entire kit-n-caboodle is $675,000, which includes a Falcon F7 supercar.

The original price for the F7 was $250,000. So the $675k total price tag feels like a bargain. Although it doesn’t contain everything you need to start your company, it does provide a solid start. All the tools, molds, materials, trademarks and copyrights, logos and trade secrets, engineering data and drawings as well as all other intellectual and/or proprietary information or property related to Falcon F7 are included in the sale.

The F7 was unveiled a decade ago at Detroit Auto Show. Falcon displayed the supercar’s V8 engine. The monocoque chassis was made of aluminum, carbon fiber and Kevlar, with a mid-engine layout powering the rear wheels. The car was designed to be a supercar manufacturer in a small scale. It had a GM-sourced engine underneath. The 7.0-liter LS7 V8 was modified by the company to produce 620 horsepower (462 kilowatts), and 600 pound-feet (813 Newton meters) of torque.

All sizes of automakers come and go every day. There are hundreds of defunct brands in automotive history, ranging from small startups to giants. It’s rare that the public has the opportunity to purchase a supercar manufacturer. Although Falcon was not able to make a supercar like the Europeans, it did create something unique and fashionable that you can have all.
