The Alpha 12 upgrade package for the Nissan GT-R was launched by AMS Performance in 2011. It increased output to 1,309 bhp (976 kW) Alpha 12+ was born from the aftermarket package. It increased horsepower to 1,700 bhp (1.267 kW).
It was recently the fastest GT-R in world, reaching a top speed at 237.5 mph (382 km/h). It took the Japanese supercar, heavily modified, just 2.99 seconds for it to reach 62 mph (100km/h), and completed the 0-124mph (0-200 km/h), in just 6.5 seconds. The GT-R AMS Alpha 12+ reached 186 mph (300 km/h) in 12.37 seconds.
The GT-R is also the fastest to complete the 1-mile run, clocking in at 22.538 seconds. The 1/4-mile run was completed in 9.447 seconds by the AMS Alpha 12+ at 161.62 mph (261.11 km/h).
