An adaptive suspension is also available.
Ford continues to improve the F150 pickup. The latest upgrade is the availability onboard scales, which allow you to see if the truck is being overloaded. A new Smart Hitch allows owners to measure the tongue weight while towing.
There are three ways that the onboard scales function. The taillights are the most innovative display. The light fills up more as the load increases. The lamp blinks when the truck is full. This information can be viewed on the FordPass app and displayed on the infotainment screen.
Smart Hitch is similar to the Smart Hitch but it can be used for towing. The Smart Hitch measures the tongue weight of the trailer, and then provides advice to the owner on the weight distribution to make safer hauling. This display, which is similar to the scales can be found on the tallights and FordPass app as well as the infotainment screen.
The 2021 F-150 can also have continuously controlled damping. This system adjusts the suspension using sensors to control roll, bounce, pitch, or pitch. The system can detect if there is a pothole at the edge and adjust the dampers to prevent the tires from sinking as much. The tech has a Tow/Haul mode that makes it easier to steer when the pickup is loaded.
All this equipment can be ordered by June, and delivery will begin in the summer. Ford has not yet discussed pricing.
For 2021 , the F-150 has already undergone a major upgrade. A new hybrid powertrain was introduced with a twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 engine and an electric motor. The company also introduced the Pro Power Onboard Generator with a maximum capacity of 7.2 kilowatts that can handle construction equipment.
