A new grille and some lights are included, but not much else.
The SUV train isn’t slowing down. Nissan will have a refreshed Murano at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show. It may seem like you are just seeing a new Murano. In fact, Nissan made interior changes to its crossover for the 2018 model year. This included a revamped center console. The exterior is now the focus of attention. While the Murano’s story has not been rewritten, the facelift brings the sport-ute into line with Nissan’s evolving design philosophy.
The Murano’s grille is the most noticeable, and it gets a V motion makeover. The new LED headlights are flanked by LED fog lights that have been lowered and LED taillights that illuminate the rear. The 2019 Murano will be available with new 18-inch or 20-inch wheels and three new exterior colors.Very Artful names. Mocha Almond Pearl and Deep Blue Pearl sound interesting, but Sunset Drift Chromaflair is our favorite color.
The interior of the Murano is unchanged – it was recently refreshed – but Nissan offers some improvements to the existing kit. There are also snazzy leather options that include contrasting trim. These can be used on the door armrests as well as the center console lid for Platinum models. Three new interior colors match the exterior colors: Dark Wood-Tone (Light Wood-Tone), and Metallic. All 2019 Muranos receive the automaker’s Intelligent Driver Alertness and Rear Door Alert.
Everything else is the standard Murano. This means that the 3.5-liter V6 engine produces 260 horsepower and is connected to a CVT which drives either all four wheels or just one. You get a wide range of standard features, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additionally, Nissan’s Safety Shield 360 suite includes warnings and assistance.
You won’t be disappointed if you are eager to purchase a Murano. The refreshed Nissan SUV will be available in dealerships from next month.
