The Panamera is now capable of consuming miles on the autobahn.
It’s been a very turbulent year. You might not have realized that the 2021 Porsche Panamera debut in August. AutoTopNL has seized the Panamera Turbo S update and put it on the autobahn.
This video shows a lot of traffic on the autobahn. The driver must be patient and wait for the traffic to calm down before he can uncork the Porsche. The clear path is finally visible and the accelerator moves to the floor. Turbo S can travel at 186 mph (300 km/h) without difficulty and continues to go. Even briefly, the speedometer ticks over at 318 km/h (198 mph), which is faster than the factory-backed maximum speed of 196mph (315 km/h).
The Panamera lineup has been updated to include the Turbo S. The twin-turbo, 4.0-liter V8 produces 620 horsepower (462 Kilowatts) as well as 604 pound-feet (820 Newton meters) of torque. Porsche claims that the new model can reach 60 miles per hour (96 km per hour) in just 2.9 seconds.
A retuned sports exhaust produces a louder sound mechanically. The steering system can be tweaked to make the sedan feel more agile, and the adaptive dampers settings have been revised. Standard equipment on the Turbo S is ceramic-composite brakes.
Exterior styling has been updated by Panamera to include a new lower fascia at front and full-width LED strip at back. The Turbo S’s interior features a new steering wheel and leather-wrapped paddles for the shift.
The 2021 Panamera will be available in the US starting Spring 2021. American pricing is not yet available.
