Long-standing BRABUS customer had his Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series tuned BRABUS style. Although all parts are readily available for other customers, this car is called the T65 RS.
Two special exhaust manifolds are available with integrated turbine housings. There are also two turbochargers that can be used to boost performance. Four intercoolers are located under the carbon fiber scoop. A special BRABUS stainless steel high-performance exhaust system is also available. Some programming was done to the engine’s electronics.
Maximum power now stands at 588kW (788bhp/800PS) at 5,500rpm. Peak torque is 1,420Nm (1.047 lbft) at 2,100rpm. However, it is electronically limited to 1,100Nm. BRABUS claims that the 1,795kg (3.957 lbs), T65 RS can run from 0 – 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds and reach 200km/h within 9.8 seconds. Although a top speed of more than 330km/h was possible, this was electronically restricted to 320km/h.
This custom interior features a soft, breathable combination of black leather and Alcantara, power comfort seats and precision-sewn red seams. There are also stainless steel scuff plates that have an illuminated logo.
