It’s fun to drive roofless supercars in a not-so-ideal climate

This is something we don’t get the chance to see, so it might be worth watching.

How likely is it that you will be able to drive a limited-edition supercar with a roofless roof? There’s a good chance you won’t be able to drive a limited million-dollar roofless car if you aren’t an F1 champion such as Nico Rosberg.

What about three of these amazing machines? You already know the answer, but Top Gear was able to arrange for all three machines in one place, and then drive them through the unpredictable Scottish weather. We get to see them on our screens.

The Top Gear mega-test is about the holy trinity modern speedsters: the Ferrari Monza and the McLaren Elva. The test is unique because all three were released in recent years. They also lack proper windscreens or roofs.

Jack Rix, the show’s host, stated that this was his first time testing these cars. We believe him, considering the way he was so excited before driving. We would be nervous if we were in his shoes, considering the three cars are worth PS3.6 million, or $5.1 million at current exchange rates.

There’s also the matter of power. These three cars can produce up to 2,300 horsepower (1.715 kilowatts). Although we can only imagine how much fun this will be, we must accept that it is not possible to see the end result.

Which of these three machines is the winner? The truth is, and Rix puts it in the video: If you were a billionaire, you would probably buy all three machines.

For roofless fun we can afford, make sure you stick around until the end of the 20-minute video.
