Maserati releases first teasers of the all-new 2022 GranTurismo

Audi RS5 Vs BMW M3 Drag Race - The Importance of AWD

It is expected to launch this year.

The 2022 Maserati GranTurismo was last seen in April, when it wore an Alfa Romeo Giulia body. Maserati released first images of the new model with its production body. However, that was in the early stages of development. The company keeps the model’s styling details hidden behind a camouflage wrap. However, the wrap cannot hide all. We can see that the coupe will get new headlights similar to the MC20. The grille is also a little more round than the previous model. It’s flanked by large intakes that are pushed to the corners. We don’t have any images of the rear, however, we expect to see new taillight designs. The coupe appears to have cladding running along its C-Pillar. This could conceal some distinctive styling elements.
Audi RS5 Vs BMW M3 Drag Race - The Importance of AWDMaserati has announced that the new 2022 GranTurismo model will be the first to feature an entirely electric powertrain. However, it won’t be the last as every model will come with an all-electric option. This is in addition to the gasoline-powered models that are rumored be equipped with Maserati’s Nettuno V6. This mill produces 621 horsepower (463 Kilowatts) as well as 538 pound-feet (729 Newton meters) of torque. It is paired with an eight-speed dual clutch transmission. The GranTurismo currently has extensive road and circuit testing to ensure that it is ready for production. The coupe will debut in the coming months before it goes on sale in 2022. A new convertible GranCabrio will also be released sometime in the year. Each model will be available in an All-electric version by 2022. The Maserati Grecale will also be launched in 2021. It is one of 16 cars that the company intends to launch through 2024.
