Can A Bugatti Chiron beat a Champion-Winning Formula 1 Race Car

This is absolutely crazy with David Coulthard at F1’s helm.

There have been many drag races, even some bizarre ones. One time, we saw an AMG GT R drag racing a Renault Twizy in reverse. While a bike once competed in a straight-line competition against South Africa’s cheapest “car”. We even saw the Suzuki Samurai race against a VW Beetle. All of these races are slow, which makes them all a bit strange. This year, we are seeing one of the most bizarre and funniest drag races ever. It’s between two powerful vehicles, one road-legal and the other reserved for international Grand Prix.

The Bugatti Chiron hypercar will be competing against the Red Bull Racing Formula 1 winner, courtesy UK’s . Let’s take a look at the drag racing before you start watching.

The Bugatti appears to have twice as much power. However, we must not forget that the RB7 weighs in at 650 kg (1,433 lb) plus the driver. The Chiron, however, weighs in at just a touch under 2 tonnes (4,398 lbs), giving it a significant advantage over the F1 race car. These numbers were irrelevant. It didn’t really matter because, even though it didn’t make any sense, the matchup was a lot of fun. Enjoy the three-round race below.
