This video is filled with so many poor decisions.
What number of bad decisions can you fit in a three-minute video clip? Although we don’t have the answer, Speedster404 on YouTube has it. We know at least one dozen. This doesn’t include all the people who chose to watch this AMG driver make bad decisions. The venue is the first thing to be mentioned. It was a “takeover” event that took place somewhere in California. It is a bad idea to attempt any type of vehicular tomfoolery with such a damaged surface. Seriously, folks, if you see cracks the size of Grand Canyons in the pavement’s surface, you should not be attempting to drive on it.
This is the moment when the next mistake happens. The silver Merc continues to smoke while drifting in front of bystanders who are recording everything with their phones. drifting is a brief period of erratic driving that results in the driver losing control. Another bad decision is the passenger leaning to the side. Finally, the Mercedes blows another tire, which also tears off the rear bumper. We see the Ford Mustang leave the scene. This is actually a good choice. It just moves closer to the action, so it’s a half-dozen poor decisions.
But there’s more. The torture continues for poor Mercedes. The driver makes the bad decision to take a new wheel and return with his shirtless passengers hanging from both sides of their car. After several spins, the driver collides into something. A quick inspection revealed no damage or minimal damage. A series of poor decisions leads to an inevitable conclusion. The Merc finally drifts into the Grand Canyon crack.
The car almost rolls over as the rear tire is ripped. After the dust settles, the rear hub of the C63 is properly borked. Although the video claims that the C63’s axle was broken, the car can be seen moving independently after the crash, so the damage to the wheel and hub is unlikely. It’s a costly end to an exhibit of ignorance.
