Their ultimate goal was breaking the quarter-mile time record of 9.6 seconds, which was set by Extreme Turbo Systems’ boosted C8. Although their journey to breaking the record was difficult, they achieved an amazing time of 9.36 seconds at 147 mph. This C8, Phoenix, is an internet sensation with much to brag about. Emelia received a $180,000 offer for her C8. General Motors liked the C8? Yes. GM was nothing but kind to Emelia and the C8. Emelia was acclamated with the words “We love what your are doing.” It makes perfect sense that such a remarkable build gets the thumbs up it merits.
