Abarth released a special edition of the hatchback’s range, the 695 Esseesse. It’s actually the fastest of all the tuned Fiat 500 official lineups. The Scorpion brand stated that engineers and designers were inspired by the 1964 model.
The Abarth 695 Esseesse is now limited to 1,390 units. 695 are available in Scorpion Black, while 695 come in Campovolo Grey. The 695 Esseesse was conceived as a collector’s edition.
The 695 Esseesse is a classic model in design. It features white details on the front spoiler, rear spoiler, mirror caps and side stickers. The alloy wheels of 17 inches are painted white and dampened with Koni FSD shock absorbers. Red center caps and Brembo brake calipers add a dramatic accent. An adjustable spoiler is located at the rear. This adds up to 42 kg (93lbs) to the aerodynamic load while running 200 km/h (124 miles/h) on the track.
Abarth used an aluminum bonnet to reduce weight. The 695 Esseesse, together with the twin titanium Akrapovic Tailpipes is 10 kg (22 pounds) lighter that the Abarth595 Competizione.
The 695 Esseesse is equipped with the necessary badging and color-matching stitches. It also includes red seat belts, Alcantara and carbon fiber inserts. The 1.4L Tjet engine powers the Abarth’s new model. It is connected to a manual transmission. With the spoiler at 0 degrees, the power plant produces 180 horsepower (134 Kilowatts) or 184 pound-feet (2250 Newton-meters). This allows the hatchback to reach 140 mph (225 km/h). The sprint time from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h), is rated at 6.7 seconds.
