Skoda is a safe bet with its designs, except for the Octavia 3’s bizarre facelift that introduced split headlights. The Roomster and the Yeti were both quirky little crossover/hatchbacks, while the Roomster was a more conventional minivan. However, these models have been gone many years ago, and Skoda now has a full range of cars with traditional designs.
This is not necessarily a bad thing. The Octavia 4 was praised for its attractiveness after its unveiling in late 2013. It should also be more appealing in its upcoming RS trim. The larger and more practical version of the VW Golf GTI was speculatively created based on the exterior design of the regular model.
Kolesa.ru has digitally envisioned the new Octavia RS with 19-inch alloy wheels, thanks to our good friends at Kolesa.ru . The front bumper was modified to accept the RS-specific set LED daytime running lights that were used in the Octavia 2 RS facelift, which was more than a decade old.
The back features the RS wing and dual exhaust tips. This is Skoda’s most popular model. Also, the red reflector, which we also saw on the Kodiaq RS, represents a common Octavia RS trait. The car’s sportier feel is given by the slightly lowered suspension, which reduces the vehicle’s ground clearance. Additionally, the red brake calipers are more aggressive and the larger air intakes are typical characteristics of the faster Octavia.
Skoda offers the Octavia RS with multiple options. This is the fourth iteration. The buyers will have the option to choose from a liftback or wagon body style, as well as gasoline and diesel engines, manual transmissions and all-wheel drive layouts. There will also be a plug-in hybrid powertrain. For the most expensive Octavia ever, the electrified version will use a 1.4 TSI engine with an electric motor and an automated transmission.
The first 2021 Octavia RS models will be available in the coming months. A best-case scenario is March at the Geneva Motor Show.
