Could this be Kangoo Z.E.? ?
Most of you don’t likely have any associations with Renault Kangoo. We’ll begin this article by giving a brief introduction to the model for our readers. The French company launched it in 1997 as a replacement for the Express, a light commercial vehicle. It was released in its most recent generation more than 10 years ago. This latest generation includes the Kangoo Express which is classified as a leisure vehicle and the Kangoo Z.E. which has been the best-selling all-electric LCV worldwide with more than 40,000 deliveries.
This is the first glimpse at the Kangoo’s next-generation. These spy photos reveal that the LCV will be larger than the Ford Transit Connect and Volkswagen Caddy, which are the most popular nameplates in this segment on the European continent. Our photographers claim that the LCV will grow in size to match the Ford Transit Connect and Volkswagen Caddy. Renault We will be trying to change the shape of the car from its old, boxy appearance towards something more car-like.
This could be the all-electric Kangoo. We are unable to confirm this at the moment. Although there is no charging port visible on either side of the van it could be located on the right front fender. We believe that this prototype is an EV. The fact that there is no exhaust pipe at its back is what makes it an EV prototype. We zoomed through all available photos to see if we could find one.
The diesel-powered model will continue to be the most preferred choice for customers on the Old Continent, we expect. The vehicle will likely be available with an upgraded 1.5-liter dCi diesel. Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.
