A 21-year old owns 30 supercar collections
Most middle-class workers in the world struggle to make ends meet by working hard and trying to make more. Dhiaa Al Essa, 21, is not worried about such worries.
Dhiaa, the son of a super-rich Saudi businessman, is the youngest owner of a collection worth 30 supercars and luxury vehicles. He was just 21 years old. Five Ferraris, five Porsches as well as three Lamborghinis and two Rolls Royces are part of the collection. The list isn’t complete. The value of his collection will increase by twofold next year when he receives a Koenigsegg Agera and a Bugatti Veyron, both valued at PS1.6million.
A Ferrari 458 Italia was expected to join the collection. However, it was one the 458s that was damaged in a warehouse fire at Heathrow Airport. The 458 Italia, which included customizations like a Dolce & Gabbana interior was priced at PS300,000. However, Dhiaa was offered a poor compensation offer by Emirates Airlines and Servisair, who own the warehouse. Dhia is looking into legal action.
Dhiaa said, “I won’t be buying another Ferrari 458 Italia.” It was unfortunate that I had to return it to the dealer due to heating issues.
Dhiaa is currently pursuing an engineering degree at Riyadh. However, many young, wealthy adults from the Middle East travel to America and Europe during summer breaks to escape the scorching desert heat.
Dhiaa’s father, who has a wide range of businesses, including real estate and stock markets, is paying for the son’s adventures. This summer, Dhiaa will be visiting New York, London, Montreal, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
