Finally, the movie is released on Thanksgiving

Egon also left them a decaying house. The Ghostbusters’ old gear turns up, and the ghosts attack the town. All this is a setup for the children, Mckenna Grace & Finn Wolfhard to learn more about their grandfather’s ghost fighting legacy, and upgrade his gadgets.
The trailer shows Annie Potts reprising her role. And the ending teases Dan Aykroyd. The Internet Movie Database cast list also reveals that Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson have appeared in Afterlife. Some references to the original film are seen in the trailer. Paul Rudd is accosted in a grocery shop by mini Staypuft Marshmallow Men. The demon dog from Ghostbusters looks very much like the creature that broke out of Walmart’s door. Slimer is a strong resemblance to one of the ghosts. Ghostbusters: Afterlife was supposed to release on July 10, 2020. However, the COVID-19 pandemic halted that date. We won’t be able to see the film until Thanksgiving 2021. Let’s find out if this effort is more in line to what fans want after the negative response to 2016 Ghostbusters.
