This makes the new Tiguan’s starting price $27,190 for front-wheel-drive models. The entry-level model comes with an all-wheel drive variant. This will cost you $28,690.

The Tiguan SE is slightly more equipped and will set you back $30,690 (32,190 for AWD). The SE R-Line Black trim is priced at $33,490 FWD and $34,990 4Motion. The top-of-the-line Tiguan SEL R-Line is priced at $37,790. It comes standard with an all-wheel-drive option. All prices are inclusive of destination fees.

The Tiguan 2022 model year will be offered with a 2.0-liter turbocharged, direct-injected gas engine. It produces 184 horsepower (137kilowatts) as well as 221 pound-feet (321 Newton-meters), of torque. Standard equipment includes an eight-speed automatic transmission that routes power to the wheels. Models with 4Motion AWD have five seats, while FWD models come with three rows. The digital instrument cluster is now standard on every Tiguan.
