The Miata is the only answer.
The Mazda Miata has been a beloved car for many years. The Mazda Miata is a great car that can carry four people and do off-road. This crazy build doesn’t include rear seats, but instead uses a Subaru WrX engine and drivetrain to make it a rally beast. This final Miata is capable of driving on all terrains and is more fun than the stock model.
David Patterson, a YouTuber from ThatDudeInBlue, has the chance to drive many different cars. We see his latest video and one of his favourite builds in action. His channel features one of his most unique and interesting builds, the WRX-swapping NA Mazda Miata.
Caleb, the builder, has his YouTube channel Gingium. Here you will find detailed videos of all his crazy builds. This Mazda Miata was originally a NA Miata and was ready to go on some backroad rides. Caleb then bought a wrecked Bug eye Subaru Impreza WRX (2000 to 2002) and began to build his Frankenstein project.
The Miata’s rear wheel drive train and inline-4 motor were removed. Caleb replaced them with the complete drivetrain of the WRX, which required a lot of engineering. Although the Mazda Miata all-wheel-drive Mazda Miata might look a bit rough around the edges it was meticulously analyzed and built to perfection.
The Miata’s majority of its parts are gone but that doesn’t make this WRX-swapped monster any less fun. The unique build is more fun than a regular Miata and pushes boundaries of what a Miata can do.
