It is a replica of the three-quarter scale that isn’t road legal.
We can’t resist despite our best efforts, so we’ll just say it. There are many good things in small packages. This is the most clichéd cliche. However, even though it’s the original full-size Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, it’s still a great thing in a small package. There’s a smaller version that you can get, and it looks just as good.
The Ferrari Testa Rossa J is a true Ferrari. The Ferrari Testa Rossa J was built with The Little Car Company. If you’re familiar with their name, they’re the same people who made the Bugatti II that we covered in July 2020. This three-quarter-scale version of Ferrari’s iconic race car is recreated with one minor change. A single electric motor is used in place of the Colombo V12, or any other gasoline engine. It is powered by three lithium-ion batteries.
The electric powertrain is not just for walking. The replica has four driving modes that allow novices to drive the Ferrari at a lower speed, with a maximum speed limit of 12 mph (20 km/h). You can switch to race or sport mode to reach speeds of 37 mph (60 km/h). While that may not sound like a fast car, it is a truly eye-opening replica. Ferrari claims that the Testa Rossa J was tuned and approved by the test drivers at the Fiorano circuit. Although it is an incredible experience to ride around the track in an SF90, it sounds like all kinds giddy fun.
This fun comes at a cost. Ferrari will only offer 299 Testa Rossa J replicas and each one will cost EUR93,000. This is a very expensive car, and the price per testa Rossa J replica will be EUR93,000. It is also available in 13 historic liveries and 53 colors for wealthy collectors. We bet Ferrari sells each of these.
