New sport suspension system features variable, electronically-controlled damping and 3 drive modes.
Mercedes-Benz introduced the AMG Ride Control sport suspension – a new option for the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.
The AMG Ride Control comes with variable, electronically-controlled damping which adapts the suspension to driving conditions on a continuous basis.
Drivers can select from three drive modes with the E-Select lever, embossed with the AMG emblem. These allow for more sporty driving dynamics. The system is always active and adjusts damping rates according to driving conditions to reduce body roll.
A shock-absorber symbol is used to represent the AMG Ride Control system. The AMG drive unit display also represents this system.
In Germany, the AMG Ride Control sport suspension with adaptive dämping is available for EUR2320.50
