Alpine declared last year that it was becoming an EV brand. The French automaker will receive three new EVs – one is , a crossover called GT X-Over. This was announced in a formal announcement at this year’s beginning.

Although not much is known about the crossover electric vehicle in testing, it is important to mention that an Alpine A110 was seen with the test mule along with a Nissan Ariya. Of note, the GT X-Over will be sharing its underpinnings with the Nissan EV, particularly the latest CMF-EV platform from the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance.Alpine’s factory in Dieppe will build the GT X-Over. It is now known as the Manufacture Alpine Dieppe Jean Redele. According to the automaker production of the all-new crossover electric vehicle will begin in 2025.
Alpine will be producing an electric sports car with Lotus in addition to the GT X-Over. It is believed to be the successor of the A110, riding on a Lotus-developed modular platform. The other Alpine EV is a compact hatchback that will likely be the sporty version the Renault 5.
You might have to be patient if you are excited about the electric future for the Alpine brand. We will only see a small number of these emission-free cars within a few years. The GT X-Over is expected to start the charge in 2025, and the Lotus-Alpine sportscar will arrive in 2026.
