Their exhausts and colors were loud. Which one is the winner?
Another drag race in the U.K. This time it’s between two supercars, one bordering hyper car and the other representing the British flag. The Lamborghini Huracan Performant Spyder flavor was the ultimate preface lift Huracan. It was track-oriented, and ready to delight your ears with its magnificent exhaust note.
The McLaren P1 On the other hand, it is getting older but doesn’t make it less capable. Only 375 P1 units were built, and they all sold out in 2013.
This episode of Lovecars is a drag racing between two supercars to determine which car is better in straight-line comparison. The Lambo has an all-wheel drive configuration, while the McLaren has more power due to its hybrid system. However, both cars have an advantage.
The Huracan Performante produces 631 horsepower (471 Kilowatts) from its naturally-aspirated, V10, and 443 pound feet (601 Newton-meters), respectively, while the P1 generates a total of 903 HP (674 kW), and 664 lb (900 Nm), torque from its twin-turbo V8/electric motor.
Although it is natural to believe that McLaren won this race due to the difference in power figures, the Huracan can still win with its all-wheel drive advantage. The Lambo is also significantly heavier than McLaren, by 80 kg (176 pounds), to be precise. This is why the McLaren isn’t winning the race.
