Respecting the Porsche design DNA.
The Macan, whether you like it or not is an important Porsche vehicle. It’s basically the cash cow for Porsche and it helps to improve the sports cars car enthusiasts love. It’s no surprise that the brand pays so much attention SUV. While modest, the latest facelift to the Macan is excellent. Here’s why.
You might have to use the magnifying glasses to see the differences. The most significant changes are at the rear, where three-dimensional LED taillights now run along the entire length of the tail. This is something that we will likely see on the next generation 911 as well as the Taycan Evo.
Both the lighting clusters up front and at the back feature light-emitting dime technology. This brings new features to the front. The new headlights are more streamlined, and the bumper has larger and more prominent air intakes. For the new model year, a couple of new 20-inch and 21-inch wheel designs will be available, as well as new body colors, including Miami Blue and Mamba Green Metallic and Dolomite Silver Metallic.
The new 11-inch screen dominates the dashboard when you enter the cabin. It replaces the seven-inch screen and has voice control. Offroad Precision also offers the app to record the live camera feeds while off-road driving.
An air ionizer and a heated windshield are optionally available. The improved Traffic Jam Assist system permits semi-autonomous driving at speeds of up to 37 mph (60 km/h).
The changes beneath the skin are invisible to the eye. Porsche’s engineers tweaked the suspension for improved stability and driving dynamics.
