The US Grenadier will only be available with a 3.0-liter Inline-Six gasoline engine, sourced from BMW. Clark acknowledged that a 3.0-liter diesel is available in other parts of the globe, but this powertrain does not make sense for the business. The straight-six gasoline engine is coupled to an eight-speed ZF-supplied automatic transmission and a two speed transfer case.
