The 500X is now gone.

Fiat’s US lineup began to shrink last year after it removed the 500. Since the brand’s return to America a decade ago, sales of this model have fallen. Its slim lineup continues to shrink as the Italian automaker Announces that it will no longer make the Fiat 500L or the Fiat 124 Spider in America after 2020.

It’s not surprising that the announcement was made. The 2014 Fiat sales reached 50,000, a record-breaking 46,121 in ten years. However, they have declined since then. Fiat sales dropped to 9,200 last year, a 40% drop from 2018, which saw a 41 percent drop compared with 2017. According to CarSalesBase.com, Fiat sales have dropped to just 9,200 last year. This is a 40-percent drop from 2018, which itself saw a 41-percent drop compared to 2017. Fiat has only sold 1,130 copies of the 500X during this same time period, despite tweaking it for the 2021 model year, with new materials, and a new package.

In the US, Fiat could also be in short supply. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is in hurry to complete their merger. This would make Fiat Chrysler Automobiles the fourth-largest automobilemaker in the world. Stellantis will be created as a conglomerate with 13 brands. There is a possibility that the car maker bundle may be subject to major restructuring in certain markets. Although it’s too early to know which brands will survive, there are a few candidates for which to be eliminated, such as Lancia and Chrysler.

The US is not looking good for Fiat, but the company is making progress elsewhere. The company introduced the all-electric 500e this year. Mopar added over 80 accessories. Fiat also introduced the new Stadia pickup. US customers are left with the 500X and the 550L, which leaves the brand a shell.
