However, this is not the case in the fourth Transporter movie. “Refueled”, which is basically a prequel, stars Ed Skrein as Frank Martin. However, you’ll notice that he’s a lot younger than Jason Statham so the action happens before the first movie.
Frank Martin, however, drives around in a current generation Audi S8 that went on sale in spring 2012 (and updated in November 2013), so it doesn’t make any sense chronologically. He also seems to enjoy drifting in a car equipped with an exclusive quattro all wheel drive system. We recall that Jason Statham drove a BMW 7-Series E38 in the first Transporter movie, while he used an Audi A8 W12 for the second and third sequels.
