Two conversions are based on the Trafic, Manhattan and Paradise.
British vehicle conversion company Sussex Campervans transformed the Renault Trafic into a motorhome that is almost PS42,000 or $56,000 at current exchange rates.
Horsham-based Trafic panel vans have been ordered by the company to be converted into its Manhattan and Paradise campers. The 30 vehicles include a mix between low-roof long-wheelbase and short-wheelbase versions (SL), with each model available in the top-end Sport trim.
The Trafic Sport’s standard equipment is included in the campers, including satellite navigation, DAB radio and Bluetooth, as well as air conditioning. There are also rear parking sensors, cruise control, automatic lights, and cruise control. Also included are 17-inch alloy wheels, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and an auto-dimming rear parking sensor. Sussex Campervans adds its own accessories to make the vehicles fully functional motorhomes.
The Manhattan model has a “classic” side-kitchen design that provides sleeping space for two to five people. Paradise offers twin- or king-size beds, and two separate areas with a fully-equipped kitchen at the rear.
Prices for the Manhattan start at PS41.995 ($56.320), while Paradise starts from PS44.995 ($60.350). Each model comes with a 3-year manufacturer warranty and a 3-year guarantee from Sussex Campervans for conversion.

It’s even more attractive with the addition of an automatic transmission.
