Well… very.
You’ve likely wondered what the previous owners did to the car. You can find a lot of information about used cars. However, it’s impossible to know how often the previous owners cleaned the car. The condition of any used vehicle will not be the same as these luxury limousines from the 2000s.
Carwow filmed three older BMW 7 Series models, Mercedes-Benz E-Class and Lexus LS in terrible condition. The video shows how disgusting and dirty the cars are inside. We don’t know the exact mechanical condition of the vehicles. The team used a scientific approach to inspecting the interiors.
The cabin of the S Class was not bad at first. The cabin was clean, with very few items on the seats or in the boot. The Lexus was basically the same. It’s worth noting that the spare tire isn’t in its usual spot because there’s an LPG oil tank there. The BMW, which is also equipped with LPG, was the most problematic when it came to items in the trunk and cabin that were not directly related to the car.
The fun part – or, rather, the disgusting part – comes next. A bacteria test was sent back to the laboratory, and a drug test was done to uncover the dirty truth about these luxurious vehicles’ interiors. Apart from the positive sign for Buprenorphine (which is sometimes prescribed as a painkiller), almost all of the drug tests came back negative. Although it was located on the Mercedes’ dashboard, no one can really determine its history.
There were many more things in these cars than we expected. We have to say that they weren’t given a thorough interior wash or cleaned by professionals detailers.
