GMC Hummer Ev Spied Testing with Accessories, Four-Wheel Steering

Fall 2021 is not too far off, is it?

The 2022 GMC Hummer EVO is a costly machine. This is especially true for the Edition 1 model at $112,595. To make customization even more fun, GMC offers nearly 200 accessories to the electric pickup truck.

Our spy photographers have spotted a prototype with cross rails close to GM’s Milford proving ground.

Cross rails don’t just cover the roof, but also the bed. You can only imagine what this silent beast can haul, with four cross rails mounted onto the pickup. This is equivalent to approximately 1,000 lb-ft (1.356 Nm), at the motor shaft, or the same pulling power as a heavy-duty pickup truck.

The spy shots also show the Hummer Ev-crab-walk-public%22%7D’s four-wheel steering. This isn’t secret, however, as we have seen the CrabWalk feature being used on public roads.

The prototype that was spotted still lacks some production parts, such as the wheel fenders. Other parts, however, are strangely hidden despite being fully exposed since last year.

It’s just a matter time until owners get their 2022 GMC Hummer EV. It is expected that the reborn nameplate will begin deliveries in Fall 2021, which is just a few months away at this writing. It is up to you to decide how long those months will be.
