Vanufaktur, a German company that specialises in retro-inspired campers and uses the most recent technologies from the RV industry, is an example of this. The VW T6-based camper that it built was a hit, and it still embodies the spirit of the original Volkswagen camperbus. The firm has returned with a new funky offering. This time, it is based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, and sports the flowcamper Max moniker.
There are many differences between the camper vans. The Max’s official name is due to the larger dimensions of the van. It can hold between two and five people depending on its configuration. Two on the 51×73 inch (130×185 cm) rear bed, one on the optional convertible front bench and two in the optional pop up roof.
Smart design and a transverse double bed at its back make the living space feel cozy and comfortable. Next, the expandable Flow bathroom is located in the front. The kitchen block has a dual-burner stove and slides out to reveal a fully slide-out module below. Below the stove is a fridge and freezer of 40 liters, which are accessible from both inside and outside.
Below the bed are the gas tanks, 50 liters freshwater and some cargo space. The camper can also be equipped with a drawer module and a dog crate depending on the specifications of the customer. Additional features include a diesel-air heater, a 1,500W inverter and an 80 Ah AGM battery.
Vanufaktur is yet to release pricing information for the new Flowcamper Max, but NewAtlas reports that the base model should start at EUR60,000 or $65,375 at current exchange rates.
