TransferFlow made the Ford F-150 an overlanding vehicle by giving it a 2,000-watt power-inverter with AC, and USB ports. This was at the 2018 SEMA Show. BDS Suspension presented a lifted F350, which also had a power-inverter. Ford may be interested in this feature for its next-generation F-150.
According to Muscle Cars & Trucks, the fourteenth-generation F-150 is going to be optionally available with a built-in generator to power your tools or other devices while off the grid. We don’t yet know the details of which trims will receive this option or how much it will cost.
