This is the Volvo S60 Cross Country for those with tight budgets.
If you stop and think about it, it’s an amazing automotive world. There are “coupes”, which are actually SUVs and sedans. They have rear-door shooting brakes and a fastback that is essentially an SUV. Volvo’s S60 Cross Country is a tall, rugged sedan with crossover-inspired styling.
Brazil has joined the fray after examining the low-budget Renault Logan Stepway from Russia a few months back. The unique vehicle will debut at the 2018 Sao Paolo International Motor Show. It is a small, high-riding sedan with plastic body cladding for the bumpers and wheel arches.
The Urban Warrior is a sedan version of the Ford Ka Freestyle, which is a small crossover hatchback known as the Ka Active. The sedan rides on 15-inch wheels and has 136 horsepower to the front wheels. It is powered by a 1.5-liter gasoline engine. A five-speed gearbox transmits this power to the wheels. Although not particularly thrilling, we must remember that this sedan is meant to be affordable.
The interior of the Ka Urban Warrior is predominantly black and features leather upholstery, Ford’s SYNC 3 infotainment systems with a 6.5-inch touchscreen as well as support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Ford claims it is a concept. However, if there is a production version, it will most likely look the same. It could also get an optional six speed automatic transmission. The Blue Oval states that it will await feedback before approving the tiny, adventurous sedan for assembly.
The Ranger pickup truck, which is exhibited in storm and Black Edition forms, will be joining the Ka Urban Warrior at this ongoing Sao Paulo International Motor Show.
