The vehicle receives a body kit, new wheels and interior modifications.

Although there are many aftermarket tuning options available, not all accessories are created equal. There are many products that are inferior in quality and others that do not meet safety standards. This could make it unsafe for a two-ton car to cruise down the highway. Techart created a special Porsche 911 Targa4 with a police-style livery to raise awareness about unsafe aftermarket parts.

This car is for 2022. Safe! Safe! This initiative was initiated by the Federal Ministry of Transport in 2005 with the support of the German Association of Automotive Tuners, Hankook tires and other partners. The aim is to encourage safe and responsible tuning while focusing on education for consumers.

The tunnel-tested Techart Aerokit is fitted to the 911. It includes a front spoiler and side skirts, aero wings, rear spoiler, and rear diffuser. Techart’s new body pieces are paired with its Sport Springs, which lower the car by 40 millimeters (1.57 inch). However, it is the police livery that transforms the car. Techart’s Formula V multi-spoke wheel is also fitted to the police car.

The tuner then adds the Sports steering wheel to the interior. It has a bright-yellow 12 o’clock position indicator. The interior also features a perforated checkered flag design. It can be found on the center console and on the seat backs.

Techart’s police Porsche won’t be in your rearview mirror next time you cruise the Nurburgring. It has an educational purpose and will be displayed at several events in the coming year. This is to promote safe and responsible tuning. Techart will exhibit the Tune It! Safe! Safe!
