Drag Racing: This Minivan Makes Supercars Look Bad

This is not your average mom-mobile.

The Honda Odyssey minivan is a staple in the US, and with good reason. Although it is one of the few available, it is affordable and has all the necessary features to ensure safe people-hauling. It’s not a supercar-killer on a drag track.

This Odyssey is capable of destroying fast cars in drag racing. A TikTok video by boostedboikyle captures some moments. It features a Chevy Corvette C8 with a tuned 900-horsepower Nissan Skyline as well as a supercharged Dodge Viper and a Nissan GT-R. You can watch the embedded video below.

The Rowdyssey is the actual name of this Odyssey. This song is owned and tuned by the BoostedBoiz boys on Youtube. These are the same guys that created the crazy Honda Civic War Wagon’ we saw previously.

This Japanese minivan was rated at over 700 horsepower at the wheels just two years ago. It has now reached 1,000 wheel horsepower with the Honda Prelude-sourced H22 motor and massive turbochargers. This makes it a supercar killer, as you can see on video. Although we aren’t sure of all the details, the car looks great on drag races.

Although the idea of an Odyssey sleeping car isn’t new, it’s not uncommon. Bisimoto presented a 1,092-hp Odyssey at SEMA 2013. It was tuned by Bisimoto in 2013. The engine is a V6 with two turbochargers, 20 inch wheels, and a six speed manual. It was put up for auction in 2016.

However, it is not hard to believe that the supercar-killing Odyssey can still be a remarkable proposition, especially when seen in action.
