A Porsche Cayenne and Toyota Prius were part of the multi-car pileup.
According to a TMJreport, Arnold Schwarzenegger was involved in a terrible car accident while driving a GMC Yukon. The accident occurred in Brentwood, California on Friday afternoon at the corner Sunset Boulevard and Allenford Avenue. Multiple cars were involved, including a Porsche Cayenne as well as a Toyota Prius. Schwarzenegger lived just one mile from the scene of the accident. It was not clear if Schwarzenegger was behind the wheel. According to ABC News, there was no alcohol or drugs involved in the accident. Therefore, no arrests were made. TMZ was told by one eyewitness that the collision was “crazy” but that it “looked like a stunt in movie.”
According to TMZ, the Yukon was at fault for the accident as it was turning left at a red light. The SUV collided with it, and the hybrid hatchback was rolled on top. The GMC continued rolling to the left, eventually colliding with a Porsche Cayenne. The Yukon’s airbags were activated after the collision. Although the actor and former governor of California were not hurt in the incident, the same cannot be said for the Toyota Prius driver.
According to TMZ, the head injury suffered by the female driver of the Prius was severe. She “bled heavily on her head.” Schwarzenegger was visible personally checking on the victim right after the collision. The woman was taken by Schwarzenegger to the hospital for treatment of her head injuries. ABC News published footage showing an aerial view. The Prius was seen being town away from the accident scene. Despite the fact that both cars sustained extensive damage, there were no other injuries.
