It looks sleek and has some similarities to the current IS.

The Lexus Electrified Sedan Concept has been updated with new photos from Twitter. These photos show the rear and side of the four-door. This model was first shown to us in Lexus’s fleet of concept vehicles.

The Lexus Electrified Sedan Concept’s nose curves steeply down from the windshield. The inlets in front fascia are very large, according to EV standards. The openings at the tip of the hood appear to be for the headlights. However, a thin strip is all that can be seen to provide illumination. There are two vents at the hood’s tip.
The Lexus Electrified Sedan Concept is a side-by-side comparison to the current IS sedan. The new vehicle is more aggressive in its arching design at the nose. The roofline of both vehicles is identical, with similar Y-shaped taillights. Most notable differences can be seen in the lower part of the body, where the electrified sedan provides an outlet for the front wheels and smoother flares for the rear bumper. The crease runs from the outlet at the top of the front fenders to base of C-pillar. This can be seen by looking rearwards from the three-quarters angle. This element gives the design a strong visual accent. The roof flows into the rear bumper more easily than the more rigid connection between the components on the current IS. The rear deck is fitted with a ducktail spoiler.

These images don’t show any exhaust pipes. This suggests that Lexus engineers are designing the sedan to be an electric vehicle. We can’t rule it out, however, for a PHEV layout with hidden exhaust pipes. This is the third tweet in which Lexus has highlighted one of its previous concepts. The upcoming RZ450e electric crossover was the first. The next was , the larger Lexus Electrified Utility SUV concept.
