Ajlani Dragon Teasers Announces New Hypercar from UAE

We want to believe…

It is not easy to enter the hypercar market. Many have tried, but very few have succeeded in placing their names next to the big players. Although we’ve seen many articles about projects that turned out to be nothing but vaporware, we aren’t giving up on the possibility. We’re not sure if we are too optimistic, but we are excited to see what Ajlani motors has in store.

We have never heard of this company. You can visit their Facebook Page to see fewer than 10 fans and one comment on one of very few published posts. Regardless of whether you are an automaker or not, every company has to start somewhere. We will give them the benefit and trust that they will deliver the promises made in the attached teasers.

The mysterious hypercar known as the “Dragon” has been in development for five years. It will be revealed in full at the 2019 Dubai Motor Show. Aljani Motors is listed on the official website as one of the exhibitors. We can therefore be sure that the car will be displayed at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Although technical specifications are still a mystery, these images provide a glimpse of the design. The hypercar’s low profile appears to have flying buttresses, and possibly a mid-engined layout. We assume that the car has a combustion engine and not an all-electric one. The red hexagonal section is illuminated in red.

The hypercar could ride on super-fat tires with wide fender flares, and the vertical third brake lamp could be integrated in a central fin. The company claims that the vehicle’s exterior styling was inspired “by the soul of a Dragon” and its impressive performance will match it. We believe the car may have scissor doors that hold the slim side mirrors. These mirrors are positioned on long pillars to provide some rear visibility behind the wide hips.

Bashar Ajlani, founder and CEO of Ajlani Motors, stated that the Dragon would be revealed to the public on November 12.
