Mercedes-AMG GT S Flashy With $32,600 Worth of Aftermarket Goodies

A little tuning can also increase the output to 605 horsepower.

Fostla, a German tuner, specializes in vinyl wraps, improving vehicle performance, and this coupe is available for $32,600 (28,000 Euros). This amount is roughly one-quarter of the $132,400 US base price.

Fostla upgrades the AMG GT S with a carbon fibre bodykit from Luthen Motorsport. These extra pieces include a front splitter and side sills, rear wings, diffuser and diffuser. Trim around the intakes is also included. These tweaks are minimal by aftermarket standards, particularly when compared to the outrageous creations of Liberty Walk or Rocket Bunny. The body is then wrapped in a silver-crimson motif with matching stripes and black accents on the hood.

Power gets a boost from a PP-Performance-Chiptuning level 2 upgrade that pushes the output to 605 horsepower (451 kilowatts) and 566 pound-feet (768 Newton-meters) – better than the factory’s own AMG GT R with 577 hp (430 kW). Fostla also adds frequency intelligent exhaust downpipes to the 4.0-liter biturbo engine and a BMC high performance air filter.

A set of KW coilovers gives the GT S’ handling a boost. They also lower the ride height to give it a more meaner stance. H&R spacers adjust the position of the black wheels so that they are flush with the body.

European tuners love the AMG GT, so many companies are looking for ways to increase its output. Domanig Autodesign can boost the engine to 769 horsepower (573 kW), and Renntech offers a kit that will increase the output up to 825 horsepower (615 kW).
