Guangzhou Motor Show: Infiniti introduces an entry-level Q50.
The Q50 will go on sale next spring in China. It features a turbocharged petrol engine of 2.0-liter capacity that produces 211 horsepower (157 kW) as well as 236 lbft (320 Nm). Engineers retuned the engine, despite it being sourced from Mercedes-Benz.
Although performance specifications weren’t released, Infiniti confirmed that the engine would eventually be available in international markets.
We have already reported that the Q50 comes with a Mercedes-sourced, 2.2-liter four cylinder diesel engine. It produces 170 HP (125kW) and 400 Nm (295lb-ft). The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 9 seconds, and reach a maximum speed of approximately 295 lb-ft (143 mph).
