The Kia Seltos arrived to the USA for the model year 2021, but the company has already made some tweaks. The changes are detailed in two new reports by Cars Direct. They also received a dealer order manual. Along with the new Nightfall Edition trim, the stylish crossover will get the brand’s new badge. The 1.6-liter turbocharged Seltos S model will be discontinued by Kia.

Nightfall Edition starts at $27.865 and includes the $1.175 destination fee. This trim also comes with the expected visual upgrades. The newt rim is not yet visible. The newt rim comes with 18-inch matte black wheels, a roof rail, roof grille and side sills in black. Nightfall Edition is also available in the most affordable Seltos trim. It comes with the model’s turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine and a seven speed dual-clutch auto gearbox. It is however $1,100 more costly than the S Turbo trim (which has similar standard equipment), according to Autos Direct.

Although the changes to the 2022 Seltos will be less drastic, it could make distinguishing Seltos trims more difficult. The trim badge will be removed from the vehicle’s rear. As part of its ongoing rebranding efforts, the 2022 Seltos will receive Kia’s new badge. As the company continues to improve its product range, the new logo is more sophisticated than the previous one. The 2022 model will also include automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assistance.

Kia introduced the Seltos , a compact crossover that is affordable, in late 2019. It will be available for the 2021 model-year. When it was first introduced, the starting price was $21,990. The Nightfall Edition will not be available for those who do not want the turbocharged 2.0-liter engine. It produces 146 horsepower (109 kW) and is only available to those who choose the all-wheel-drive Nightfall Edition. Although it is not yet clear when the 2022 Seltos Crossovers will be available to dealers, it should arrive in no time.
