2022 BMW X4 Renovated To Prevent Subtle Facelift

An update will be made to the coupe-fated brother of the X3 as well.

BMW will unveil the new X3 range of vehicles in June, following the leaks from China . Two detailed renderings give a good idea of what the new Bavarian SUV will look like. The updated coupe-crossover sibling will be available soon. Kolesa.ru also has two new virtual drawings that preview the 2022 model year X4.

Although we haven’t seen any leaked images of the facelifted X4, it is likely that it will receive similar exterior upgrades to the X3. We’ve seen X4 prototypes in camouflaged form several times, which gives us hints about the minor design changes. These renderings combine all the information available to make a plausible, unofficial preview of the facelifted X4.

These renderings replace the X4’s traditional front fascia. They also show a slightly bigger grille and slimmer headlights. This model is likely to have the M Sport Package which includes extras such as blacked-out trim and more aggressive bumpers.

The rear end rendering is more straightforward than the X3 facelift. The taillights, however, seem to have remained the same as the pre-facelift. Below the lighting clusters are new decorative grills. Just below them is a redesigned diffuser that has an integrated dual exhaust system and an unusual shape.

The LCI update for the X4 is not expected to bring about major changes. The interior may actually be in need of some improvements. Previous spy photos revealed a modified steering wheel and a larger infotainment display. A redesigned center console is also possible. The full picture will be released in the second half this year. Keep checking back for more.
