New Loki Basecamp Truck Camping Camper Ready for EV Pickup Onslaught

The starting price is $135,000, but that does not include the truck.

Today there are many pickups on the market. Next year will see a lot more. Loki Basecamp, a Canadian-American camper company has launched its Falcon Series truck bed camper. It can fit many sizes of truck beds, including the Toyota Tacoma and the Ford Super Duty. It will also fit the Rivian R1T as well as the Tesla Cybertruck.

With its heater, hot water supply, standard air conditioner and heater, the Falcon Series camper highlights its four-season camping capabilities. The camper can be powered by 360 watts of solar energy from its roof-mounted panels. This is enough to keep it running when removed from its truck bed. Tie-down tracks inside allow for the configuration of a variety of gear including backpacks and skis as well as bicycles.

The larger, strut-assisted rear liftgate is a nice feature that allows for easy loading of large equipment into the camper. The liftgate can also be used as an awning and allows campers easy access to the bathroom. A large platform roof rack is located on top, which can be used as a deck. For additional storage, the camper has underfloor drawers.

The couch can be converted to a second bedroom, and the queen-size mattress will fit in the alcove. The toilet, sink and counter space for an induction stovetop are all located inside. A mobile app and integrated display allow you to control many camper functions, such as lighting, water pump, etc. The price of the camper will not be cheap at $135,000. Delivery is expected to start in the first quarter 2022. The Falcon Series camper can fit trucks with beds lengths of 5 to 6.5 feet, 8 to 8, and 10 feet.
