Hyundai Mexico has unveiled the Grand i10 on the Mexican market.
The vehicle is essentially a sedan version the standard and measures 3.99m in length. It will be made at the plant in India where the local Xcent model can also be produced.
The compact car will only be available in South America with a 1.2-liter petrol motor that produces 87 PS (64kW). The 5-speed manual transmission will drive it, but an automatic gearbox is planned for next year.
Three trim levels will be available for the model. An optional equipment package includes an auto AC, rear parking sensors, camera, auto folding mirrors, and one-touch electronic trunk opening. The base model starts at 7,950 EUR (9.870 USD).
