Cheap camper vans are becoming more popular due to the growing motorhome market globally. A Lada-based RV building in Russia costs around EUR18,250, or about $21,400 in the United States. However, a used Ford Econoline can be converted to a large campervan for less than $10,000.
Yevana from Spain wants to follow this trend. Its latest conversion offering is based on the Dacia Dokker. The company will transform the Romanian van into an all-inclusive motorhome for EUR9,750, or approximately $10,794 at current exchange rates.
However, the price does not include the donation vehicle. Used Dokker vans in Spain are available for as little as EUR10,000 ($11,000.70). This means that a total conversion would cost less than $22,000. If you don’t have the time or desire to search for a used Dokker van yourself, the company will help you find the right vehicle.
Although the Dacia Dokker compact motorhome measures only 4.36m (172 inches), it has a cargo space of 800 liters (211 gal) and can fit everything you need in a two-seat camper. The compact can accommodate a foldable double bed with a 70mm (2.75 inches) thickness, and a birchwood base.
The Yevana-converted camper includes all the necessary bedroom amenities, including a portable kitchen, a 31L (8.2-gal refrigerator), a stainless-steel sink, and an 8.5-gal freshwater tank. The camper even features an outdoor shower.
The Dacia motorhome’s design features include a mix of plywood and diode lights, which makes it feel bright and homey. The compact camper includes a solar panel, 100Ah batteries, and a 600W inverter.
