The new HRV features a completely redesigned nose. The lower fascia is wide and has mesh in the middle. There are also vertical air inlets at the corners. The grille is much more angular that the previous-generation vehicle. The middle features a hexagonal pattern.

The current model’s headlights appear higher by separating them from the grille. The nose is shaped by a section of the hood that incorporates a section of the sculpted hood. The hood is now longer than ever before.

The bold sculpting of the previous model is gone from the flanks. The handles for the rear doors are now located on the C-pillar. They are now located on the body’s side.

The rear has a steeper angle for its rear pillar. The taillights are smaller and more sleek. The sculpting is simpler than the previous model, just like the sides.

The interior of the new HR-V is not being shown by Honda. The styling of the North American crossover is slightly different from the one for the rest of. We can’t even use foreign-market variant as a guide . The existing cabin is outdated and tech upgrades will be part of the new recipe.

The new Civic 2023 HRV shares a platform. The new model’s wheelbase and width are larger than the current model. Honda announced that the HR-V would have a more responsive engine with a new independent rear suspension. This will give the compact SUV a more confident and refined feel.

This information suggests that the current 1.8-liter four cylinder, which produces 141 horsepower and 127 pounds-feet torque, doesn’t power this new model. Non-Si Civics in the US can be ordered with either a 2.0-liter four cylinder offering 158 horsepower and 138 lbft, or a turbocharged 1.5 liter four-cylinder producing 180 hp.
